Thistle Armor Necklace

The deep roots, sharp spikes, and downy seeds of thistle work together to ensure its status as the ultimate survivor. Inspired by the symbolism of these qualities, I crafted this talisman of rootedness, boundaries, ancestral connection, and outward expansion. Each thistle is 100% handcrafted from scratch, granting each one its own unique spirit. A diamond of natural Baltic amber sits in the center, radiating its energy of renewal, cleansing, and courage to the wearer. The border of the stone setting is aged and tattered, as if this necklace is an ancient relic. My maker's mark and .925 for sterling adorn the back of this piece, which has been blackened and selectively polished for a magical old world aesthetic.
