Metalsmith and one-woman-show, Kerin was born and raised in a working class Irish corner of Boston. She harnesses the three inspirational forces at work in her life since her earliest memories - her Irish heritage, her love of reading {particularly literature, mythology, history, and folklore}, and her fascination with witchcraft - and hand-forges them into symbolic tales told in metal and stone. These jewels are meant to serve as deeply personal talismans, emerging from the inner world of the artist and incorporating into that of the wearer’s.
