The Luminaries Earrings

These earrings are meant to appear like an ancient treasure unearthed from the underworld, trophies paid to one who faced the darkness. A handmade brass moon and sun adorn aged sterling pomegranates, a merging of three dualistic symbols. They hang from rose cut garnets, which represent the pomegranate seeds that bound Persephone to the darkness and shaped the very core of her existence.

Earrings measure 1 7/16 inches long, with notched posts that measure 7/16 of an inch long. They weigh 4.4 grams each (for reference, a U.S. quarter weighs 5.6 grams).
