Shield of Ancestral Magic ✦ 18 inch chain

This handcrafted sterling silver shield, weathered and battle-worn, is intended to guard the heart of the wearer and guide them toward triumph. It features a natural faceted garnet in the center, that sparkles juicy-red at every angle. A sun, spiral, triquetra, and moon adorn the shield. These symbols not only call to the cycles of light and dark and the never ending process of becoming, but also invoke ancestral protection, rendering this shield the ultimate armor on the path of shadow work and self-actualisation. This piece also recently visited The Hill of Tara in Co. Meath, Ireland, deepening its ancestral ties. Crafted in homage to the fortitude of the human spirit, this pendant features a plaque with my maker's mark on the back, and has been blackened and selectively polished to highlight the details.
