I fell utterly in love with these earrings the moment I drew them for The October Country Collection sketchbook page, and upon their completion, they do not disappoint! A pair of skulls cast in sterling silver sit above two elegantly faceted gems of onyx. Sterling prongs tenderly hold each stone in place like a clavicle, ribcage, and pelvis. These jewels are inspired by the spooky and incredible short story “Skeleton” by Ray Bradbury, which appears in the book from which this collection gets its name. They are also intended as a memento mori and, of course, an ode to Halloween. These earrings have been blackened and polished to highlight the details.

Each earring weighs .23 oz, about the weight of a U.S. quarter.
Earrings measure just over 1 3/4 inches from top to bottom.
