✦ Poppy studs with garnet centers - weigh 1.6 grams each (for reference a U.S. quarter weighs 5.6 grams), measure 1/2 an inch wide on 7/16 inch sterling notched posts.

✦ Garnet hexagons with poppy pod dangles - weigh 6.4 grams each, measure just under 1 1/2 inches long on 7/16 inch sterling notched posts.

✦ Skull studs with petrified palm root dangles - weigh 9.5 grams each, measure 2 3/8 inches long on 7/16 inch sterling notched posts.

These three pairs of earrings were crafted as odes to ancestors and myths, to those who came before us, and their stories that carry us through. They feature skulls and petrified wood, garnets and poppy pods cast from the real thing, and handcrafted poppy blossoms with garnets nestled in the center, all blackened and selectively polished to appear as ancient treasures unearthed from ages past.
