Moon Magic Pendants

“…a body which waxes, wanes and disappears, a body whose existence is subject to the universal law of becoming, of birth and death. The moon, like man, has a career involving tragedy, but this ‘death’ is never final. This perpetual return to its beginnings, and this ever-recurring cycle make the moon the heavenly body above all others concerned with the rhythms of life.”

I crafted these symbolic pendants as an ode to the ultimate guide through the darkness and symbol of renewal and transformation: the moon. Natural labradorite crescent moons, in hues from sage to cobalt to violet, sit within sterling silver settings. Labradorite is a stone of personal transformation and protection, and with deep ties to the subconscious mind, it shares many energetic similarities with the moon. Each crescent hangs from a different bail: a silver or bass sun, to represent the eternal balance of light and dark; a triquetra, to represent the cycles of life, death, and rebirth; and a spiral, to represent the endless process of becoming. These necklaces are meant to serve as personal talismans when navigating periods of great change, upheaval, and transformation. Each one features my maker's mark and .925 for sterling on the back.
