Lily of the Valley Armor Pendant

As I crafted this jewel, I held in my heart the upward energy of ascent, of rising through difficulty, of a simultaneous closing of one cycle and opening of another. This sterling silver statement necklace represents a rebirth, a return, a transmutation. A moody and earthy rosecut vesuvianite sparkles between two entirely handcrafted stems of lily of the valley. This jewel is intended to serve the wearer as a reminder of her inherent strength and capabilities. May it be a shield in the darkness and a guide toward the light, a companion on the winding road through the shadows and back to oneself. This piece measures 18” long and has been blackened and polished to highlight the details. My maker's mark and .925 for sterling adorn the back.
