Opals are associated with many different goddesses across cultures and mythologies, so with this in mind I created this decadent one of a kind ring. It features hard to find, complex, Australian boulder opals that flash from electric blue to deep red, and lime green to cerulean depending on the light and angle. An ornate border hugs each natural stone, while two file-polished 14k gold fill crescents sit between them, tying in the goddess theme. This ring is constructed from sterling, and sits atop a triple split band. My maker's mark and .925 for sterling adorn the underside of the ring, and the entire piece has been darkened, sanded, and polished for a royal aesthetic.
-- Details -- Size 9 1/4. Sterling silver. 14k gold fill. Please note that gold fill is NOT the same as gold plated. Gold fill is a thick layer of gold bonded to base metal which behaves like solid gold and will not flake or peel. Natural Australian opals. Ring face measures 1 13/16 inches tall. You will receive the pictured ring.
