Prismatic flashes of color leap out from these boulder cut fire opals at every angle. The teardrop stone has five distinct windows of orange, green, yellow, blue, and purple opal, while the freeform shape is riddled with pinholes and windows of the entire rainbow prism of opal throughout. Although beautiful in photos, only in-person viewing can do these gems justice. Please view the video posted to my IG story if you'd like more detail. These eye-catching beauties are perfect for bezel setting, wire wrapping, decor, crystal grids, and altars.
Metaphysically, opal is thought to emanate inspiration. It is said to soothe emotions and provide artistic stimulation, while also functioning as a strong good luck charm.
Please note that I did not cut these, they are from my personal collection of stones that I've purchased throughout the years for use in my jewelry. I sort through my stash each fall and bittersweetly part ways with some stones, in hopes that someone else will love them and use them, and in order to make space in my collection for new acquisitions.
