Lilac & Lepidolite Sceptre Ring - Size 7 - The Cruellest Month Collection
“April is the cruellest month, breeding Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing Memory and desire, stirring Dull roots with spring rain.”
April is not gentle. It forces the earth, and us, out of the sleepy hibernation allowed by winter. But in that aggressive push is the potential for beautiful things. This sceptre ring is meant to serve as a guide through the discomfort of growth, and as a reminder of the power and capabilities latent within us all. A handmade crescent moon topped with a handmade lilac and leaves rests atop a soothing, shimmering lepidolite* teardrop. This layered stone flashes from silver to mauve to lilac depending on the light and angle. It sits atop a wide tapered band that has my maker's mark and .925 for sterling on the inside.
*I advise gentle care with all of my jewelry, but please note that lepidolite is a soft material that requires attentive wear. It is only slightly harder than amber on the Mohs hardness scale. If you tend to be rough on your jewels, this may not be the piece for you.
-- Details -- Size 7. Please note that wide bands feel more snug than standard bands, so some people prefer to size up 1/4 to 1/2 size. Sterling silver. Natural lepidolite.
Ring face measures just over 3 1/8 inches tall. You will receive the pictured ring.
